Math = Art

Mathscaper’s Artist's Statement

Our mission is to express the beauty of mathematics and science through art, for all. We seek to inspire awe and appreciation for nature and number through our work. We utilize exotic hardwoods, custom dyed plywood, aluminum, steel, resins, chemistries and silicates chosen for their optical and structural properties.

We hope that everyone, regardless of their feelings toward or education in mathematics and science, sees the beauty in the order and chaos of the mathematical world, as we do.

Our work spans fine art, architectural scale facades, and sculptures, designed to evoke wonder and curiosity about the mathematical and scientific principles that inform our designs. Our work was shown in the Holter Museum of Art in 2023. We are currently seeking gallery representation in several markets.
